Body BuilderMary Hurrell will be choreographing a performance and installation titled Key Blank. The show will open on the 3rd of May with a live composition of movement, objects and sound at the Broadcast Gallery.
Working to a silent score of words, the piece explores the reading of objects and space through the body, and more specifically touch. The installation uses objects which seal off one or more of the senses in their reading, blank objects cut or shaped through the performer/viewer’s experiencing of them. The installation and performance is part of an ongoing enquiry into forms of non-verbal language.
